About the Birmingham Stallions

The Birmingham Stallions are the defining franchise of modern spring football. The original Stallions played in the USFL from 1983 through 1985 with quarterback Cliff Stoudt and running back Joe Cribbs leading some of the most exciting offensive football of the original USFL era. The Stallions returned in the modern USFL revival in 2022 and immediately won back-to-back USFL Championships in 2022 and 2023 — the only franchise to win consecutive titles in the modern era. The Stallions then carried that championship momentum into the merged UFL in 2024.
