Wholesale & Retail

Vintage sports apparel for your floor.

For boutiques, fan stores, museum stores, and specialty retailers carrying Royal Retros product. Made on demand, shipped from US and Canadian distribution, restocked in days — not seasons.

What you're carrying

Vintage and throwback sports apparel built around an archive that goes deep into defunct franchises, championship eras, and classic uniform sets across baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer, and motorsport.

  • Heritage that sells itselfThe customer demand for defunct logos, championship-era throwbacks, and uniform-accurate detail is already there. We just put it in front of buyers.
  • Made on demandNo dead stock on your floor. Restocks ship in days. You can carry a deep catalog without warehousing it.

Program terms

Standard opening terms — happy to adjust for high-volume accounts or established specialty retailers.

  • Opening order$500 minFirst-time buyer minimum. Reorders open at $250.
  • PricingPer line sheetWholesale tiers scale with order volume. Pricing sent privately alongside the line sheet.
  • Payment termsCard → Net 30Card on first 3 orders, charged before ship. Net 30 unlocks after 3 successful orders + 2 credit references, capped at $2,500 outstanding initially. ACH or check on Net 30 (no cards on terms accounts). 1.5%/month late fee past 30 days.
  • Lead time5–10 daysBusiness days from PO to ship. Faster for stocked open-catalog SKUs.
  • FulfillmentUS & CanadaShipped from distribution in both countries — fast cross-border.
  • Resale termsNo marketplacesBrick-and-mortar and your own branded site only. No Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.

Why these terms: We've had collection issues with new wholesale accounts in our history — chargebacks on shipped product, ghosted invoices, late payments. The three-card-orders bar and credit references aren't us being suspicious; they're the standard way to build a wholesale relationship that lasts. Established accounts in good standing earn higher Net 30 caps, faster ship windows, and access to seasonal capsule drops before the open market.

Who we work with

If your shop carries the kind of customer who reads jersey patches and knows what year a logo got retired, we're a fit.

  • Independent retail shops — boutiques, sports specialty, vintage and streetwear stores.
  • Team stores and fan shops — venues, arenas, stadium-adjacent retail.
  • Museum and heritage stores — sports museums, halls of fame, history-of-the-game retail.
  • Hat shops and headwear specialty — caps are a strong category, especially for defunct franchises.
  • Online specialty retailers — branded direct-to-consumer sites with a sports or heritage focus.

Not a fit: marketplace resellers (Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace), drop-shippers without their own brand, and operations buying primarily to relist on aggregator sites.

How it works

Approval-to-line-sheet is usually same week.

  1. Submit the formTell us about your shop, target categories, and rough volume.
  2. We review and respondVetting is light but real — we want to make sure we're a fit for each other.
  3. Line sheet and pricingSent privately. Full catalog, wholesale pricing, lead times by category.
  4. First PO and shipCard cleared before ship. 5–10 business days to dispatch. Tracking sent on shipment.
  5. Ongoing reordersFirst 3 orders run on card. Net 30 unlocks after 3 successful orders and 2 credit references, capped at $2,500 outstanding initially. Account suspends if any invoice ages past 45 days — keep them current and the cap raises over time.

Common questions

How fast can you restock once we place a reorder?

Made-on-demand orders ship in 5–10 business days. For high-velocity SKUs we'll stage inventory and ship faster. Caps in particular move quickly through our system.

Can we use your product imagery on our site?

Yes. Once you're an approved wholesale account, we'll share product imagery you can use on your branded site. We do ask that you don't repost imagery on marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) — that's part of the resale terms.

What about returns and defects?

Defect returns are on us — manufacturing flaws, misprints, wrong items shipped. Customer-driven returns (size, change of mind) are your operation to handle. We'll restock returns into your account at cost-basis if you'd rather hold inventory than write it off.

Do you offer territory exclusivity?

Not generally. We do try not to over-distribute in a given market — if you're the only sports specialty in a small market, that's organic exclusivity. For larger metros, multiple accounts is the norm.

Can we customize product for our store with your archive?

Yes. Some of our best accounts run custom fan-apparel programs with us — store-exclusive colorways, our archive logos with your shop branding alongside, regional drops. That's a deeper conversation past the wholesale form — flag it in your inquiry.

What if our shop is online only?

Online specialty retailers with their own branded site are welcome. Marketplace sellers (Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy resellers) are not. The line is whether the customer sees your brand or someone else's.

Do you do custom team uniforms or white-label?

Yes, but that's a different program. See /pages/custom-apparel for custom and white-label apparel, or /pages/league-partnerships if you represent a sanctioned league or rights holder.

Why card payment on the first three orders?

Bluntly: we've been burned. Chargebacks on shipped wholesale, late payments that took weeks of follow-up, accounts that went straight from Net 30 to ghost. Three card-paid orders builds the track record both sides need before Net 30 makes sense. Net 30 opens up after that, with credit references on file, capped at $2,500 outstanding initially. The cap goes up as the account proves out.

Why ACH or check only on Net 30, not card?

A card payment can be charged back up to 180 days after the original charge — even on a Net 30 invoice that was already paid. ACH and check don't carry that reversal risk. Once an account is on Net 30 terms, we want the relationship on payment methods that settle cleanly.
