Central Florida Sports Streetwear — Orlando, Tampa Bay & St. Petersburg Vintage Jerseys, Hats & Tees
Bandit Red. Creamsicle Orange. XFL Bold. 38 Active Styles, $29.99–$114.99. Free Custom Names & Numbers. Sizes S–5XL.
This gear is built to rep Orlando, Tampa Bay or St. Petersburg on any day of the week, not just under stadium lights. A Bandits tee under a jacket, a Creamsicle jersey worn like a statement piece, an Orlando Rage hoodie that reads as bold streetwear before it reads as XFL trivia — that's the point of this page. Royal Retros carries 38 active jerseys, hats, t-shirts and hoodies tied to Central Florida, priced from $29.99 for a tee to $114.99 for a fully custom tackle-twill jersey, most jerseys with free name-and-number customization in sizes S–5XL. Some of it comes from a team playing right now; most of it comes from clubs that folded, moved, or never made it to a second decade. Below: how to shop it by look, by city, and by the team behind each design.
Shop by Design and Aesthetic
Bandit red. The Tampa Bay Bandits' bold red-and-white colorway spans both the original 1980s USFL era and the 2022 revival, plus a black remix jersey — the single most requested look on this page. Shop the Bandits.
Creamsicle orange and white. The Creamsicle Jersey's orange, cream and two-way white colorway is a tribute to Tampa's boldest early-era football palette, referenced here by nickname only. Shop the jersey.
XFL bold — navy/red and forest/silver. The Orlando Rage's navy-and-red colorway and the Orlando Guardians' forest, silver and lime scheme are two completely different XFL eras wearing two completely different palettes. Shop the Rage or the Guardians.
Teal and purple, roller-rink coded. The Tampa Bay Tritons tee's heather deep teal, team purple and heather prism dusty blue options are a bold departure from the rest of this football-heavy catalog — a genuine roller hockey aesthetic. Shop the tee.
Cigar-box cream and red. The Tampa Smokers jersey's cream flannel look, paired with the tee and hoodie's red and bone colorways, pulls from the city's cigar-manufacturing era rather than a modern sports palette. Shop the Smokers.
Royal blue and baby blue. The Orlando Thunder tee's true royal, baby blue and lime combination and the Orlando Juice tee's true royal and orange pairing both lean pastel-bold, a spring-and-summer-league look distinct from the deeper Bandit red or Creamsicle orange elsewhere on this page. Shop the Thunder tee or the Juice tee.
Maroon, winter-league style. The St. Petersburg Pelicans tee's maroon colorway is a genuine outlier on this page — no other product here uses it, which makes it an easy single piece to build a whole look around. Shop the tee.
Blue and gray, Southern League style. The Orlando Sun Rays jersey's blue, gray and two-way white options and the tee's true royal colorway pull from late-1990s minor-league baseball rather than a modern affiliate look. Shop the jersey.
Mix eras and cities freely — a Bandits tee under a Rage hoodie, or a Smokers cap with a Creamsicle jersey, works exactly the way any city-coded streetwear rotation should.
Shop by City
Orlando carries the deepest bench at 23 active styles across three sports — five separate spring or alternative football eras (the Rage, the Guardians, the Thunder, the Apollos and the Renegades), two roller hockey franchises, a Southern League baseball affiliate, a winter-league baseball club and an original WNBA franchise all trace back to the city.
Tampa Bay carries 14 active styles centered on the Bandits' two USFL eras, plus the Vipers' 2020 XFL season, decades of Smokers baseball, a modern farm-club tribute, a roller hockey franchise, and the Creamsicle nickname tribute.
St. Petersburg carries one style — the St. Petersburg Pelicans, who won the only full season a short-lived 1989 winter baseball league ever completed. Shop the tee.
This collection only pulls from Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orlando — there's no Jacksonville or Miami product here, and none should be assumed. That's a real limitation, not an oversight: Royal Retros builds each region page from an active tag set, and expanding this one to cover the rest of the state would mean a different, wider collection rather than a bigger version of this one.
Discover the Local Teams
Every team below gets one paragraph and a link, not a full chronology — this page exists to help you find the team you didn't know your city had, not to retell every season.
- Tampa Bay Bandits — a USFL charter franchise from 1983–1985 known for "Bandit Ball," with a 2022 USFL revival carrying the name again. Shop the Bandits.
- Orlando Renegades — relocated from Washington for the USFL's 1985 season; folded with the rest of the league before a planned fall season. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Florida Blazers — reached the 1974 World Football League championship game despite going unpaid for the season's final months. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Thunder — drew some of the World League of American Football's best crowds at the Florida Citrus Bowl in 1991 and 1992. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Apollos — went 7–1, the Alliance of American Football's best record, before the league folded two weeks short of the finish line. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Rage — sold out its home opener and went 8–2 in the XFL's original 2001 season, one of the league's biggest success stories before it folded after one year. Shop the jersey, the remix jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Guardians — played the 2023 XFL season at Camping World Stadium but weren't among the franchises carried into the merged league. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Tampa Bay Vipers — went 1–4 in the XFL's 2020 relaunch before the season was cut short. Shop the jersey.
- Florida Tuskers — played in the 2009–2012 UFL, a different, unrelated league from today's merged USFL/XFL organization. Shop the tee.
- Creamsicle — a tribute to Tampa's boldest early-era football colors, referenced here by nickname. Shop the jersey.
- Tampa Smokers — minor-league baseball across three eras between 1919 and 1954, named for the city's cigar industry. Shop the Smokers.
- Tampa's modern farm-club tribute — a tribute to Tampa's current Yankees-affiliated Low-A club, which itself revived a Tampa nickname from 1957–1988. Shop the jersey.
- Orlando Juice — one of the Senior Professional Baseball Association's eight original 1989 franchises, bringing retired big leaguers back for a winter season. Shop the tee.
- St. Petersburg Pelicans — won the Senior Professional Baseball Association's only full-season championship in 1989. Shop the tee.
- Orlando's Devil Rays-era farm club — Orlando's Double-A Southern League affiliate through the late 1990s and early 2000s, before relocating to Alabama. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Jackals — won Roller Hockey International's Murphy Cup in their first season under that name, 1996. Shop the jersey or the tee.
- Orlando Rollergators — the franchise's original 1995 Orlando identity before the 1996 rebrand to the Jackals. Shop the tee.
- Tampa Bay Tritons — a one-season Roller Hockey International club owned by a future Hockey Hall of Famer. Shop the tee.
- Orlando Miracle — Orlando's original WNBA franchise, 1999–2002, before relocating to Connecticut. Shop the tee.
Nineteen franchises, four sports, three cities and more than a century of Central Florida sports history — that's what's actually shoppable on this page, and most of it isn't the team most fans think of first. Whether you grew up near the Florida Citrus Bowl watching a spring-league Saturday, or you're just now discovering that St. Petersburg once fielded a winter-league champion, there's a real product behind every name above, not a placeholder logo.
Wearing It Off Game Day
None of this is built for a single Saturday. The Tampa Smokers tee's natural colorway and the Florida Blazers tee's heather options work into a normal wardrobe rotation the same way any well-made cotton tee would, and the Bandits' athletic-heather tee skews toward everyday wear rather than costume. The Creamsicle Jersey and the Bandit red USFL jersey read as statement pieces — worn over a base layer on a cooler day, or on their own for a tailgate — while a Rage or Guardians tee disappears into a normal rotation with jeans and sneakers. Hats are one-size adjustable across the board, which makes a Smokers or Renegades cap the easiest single piece to fold into daily wear without thinking about sizing. Central Florida's warm climate means t-shirts and hoodies do most of the year-round work here, which is exactly why this collection leans so heavily on them rather than heavy outerwear.
Save the tackle-twill jerseys — the Bandits, the Blazers, the Renegades — for the pieces meant to be seen, not worn under something else. A jersey layered over a long-sleeve tee reads as intentional in cooler months; on its own, it's a warm-weather statement piece that doesn't need a game to justify wearing it. The hoodies, by contrast, are built for the handful of genuinely cool days Central Florida gets each year, which is why there are only two hoodie styles in this whole collection compared to a dozen-plus t-shirts.
Sizes and Customization
- Custom jerseys — the football and baseball custom jerseys in this collection run S–5XL. The Orlando Jackals roller hockey jersey adds an XS option and a 5XL goalie cut.
- T-shirts — most run S–5XL; four styles (Florida Tuskers, St. Petersburg Pelicans, Florida Blazers and the Orlando Devil Rays-era farm-club tee) top out at 4XL, so check the size chart before ordering.
- Hoodies — sizing varies by style. The Tampa Smokers Hoodie runs S–5XL; the Tampa Bay Bandits Hoodie runs S–3XL only.
- Hats — one-size adjustable on every unstructured/dad-hat style in this collection.
- Customization — free name and number on most jerseys; custom orders are made to order and final sale.
Construction varies by product line: the tackle-twill football jerseys use applied lettering and numbering rather than screen print, and the Orlando Jackals roller hockey jersey offers a dedicated goalie cut in addition to standard sizing. Color options vary too — the Creamsicle Jersey offers four colorways built around one classic palette, while others stick to a single era-correct color.

Quick Buying Questions
What sizes are available?
Custom football and baseball jerseys run S–5XL. The Orlando Jackals roller hockey jersey adds XS and a 5XL goalie cut. T-shirts mostly run S–5XL with four styles topping out at 4XL. Hoodies vary — S–5XL on the Tampa Smokers Hoodie, S–3XL on the Tampa Bay Bandits Hoodie. Hats are one-size adjustable.
Is customization free?
Free name and number on most jerseys. Choose your name, number and size at checkout.
How fast does it ship?
Stock items ship within a few business days. Custom jerseys take longer — they're built to order, not pulled off a shelf.
Are these officially licensed?
It depends on the product, and this collection spans a lot of ground. Most of what's here is heritage tribute apparel — Royal Retros isn't running an official license for most of these defunct leagues and clubs. A few specific product lines in this collection do carry their own license; check that team's own collection page for the specifics rather than assuming either way from this page.
Why isn't there a Jacksonville or Miami section on this page?
This collection is built from products tagged to Orlando, Tampa and St. Petersburg specifically, so cities outside that tag set aren't represented here even if Royal Retros carries product for them elsewhere on the site.
Why has Central Florida cycled through so many alternative football leagues?
Because Orlando and Tampa have had the one thing every startup football league needs and can't build fast enough on its own: a big, NFL-caliber stadium with no permanent full-time tenant. The Florida Citrus Bowl and its modern successor, Camping World Stadium, alone have hosted five separate professional football tenants — the Thunder in the WLAF, the Renegades in the USFL, the Rage in the XFL's first era, the Apollos in the AAF, and the Guardians in the XFL's second era — without ever landing a franchise that stuck for more than two seasons. Add Tampa Stadium's role as the Bandits' stable three-season home across the original USFL, and Central Florida becomes the single deepest well of alternative-football history in the state. That boom-and-bust pattern is exactly the ground this collection covers, and it's also why this page leans so heavily on football compared to the region's smaller baseball, basketball and roller hockey benches. The baseball, roller hockey and basketball entries tell a related but different story — smaller leagues that came through Central Florida for a single winter or a handful of seasons, left a real mark on the people who watched, and then folded when the league around them ran out of money rather than because the local team failed on its own.
What Makes Ours Period-Correct
Construction and accuracy. Sewn-on tackle-twill numbers and lettering where the original build called for it, era-correct fonts and colors, and true-to-original construction — every Central Florida Vintage design is checked against period references before it goes live.
Extended FAQ
Why isn't there an Orlando Storm product to shop right now?
The Orlando Storm t-shirt and hoodie are currently in draft status and aren't available to order. Check back — draft products occasionally return to active status.
What happened to the Orlando Predators?
The Orlando Predators' t-shirt, hoodie and hat products are archived and no longer available to order. The Predators were one of Orlando's longest-running pro football franchises, playing indoor arena football from the early 1990s into the 2010s with a brief mid-2010s revival, but no active product from that run is currently in this collection.
Is the current UFL the same league the Florida Tuskers played in?
No. The Florida Tuskers played in the 2009–2012 UFL, a spring/fall developmental league that folded in 2012. Today's UFL is an unrelated, newer organization formed by the 2024 merger of the USFL and XFL.
Does the roller hockey jersey run different sizes than the football jerseys?
Yes. The football and baseball custom jerseys in this collection run S–5XL. The Orlando Jackals roller hockey jersey adds an XS option at the small end and a 5XL goalie cut at the large end.
Do the custom jerseys ship faster than the stock jerseys?
No — stock items (t-shirts, hats, most hoodies) ship within a few business days. Custom jerseys take longer because every one is built to order with your name, number and size.
Can I mix cities or sports in one order?
Yes. Every product on this page ships from the same Royal Retros catalog regardless of city, sport or league.
Is there a mini helmet available for any Central Florida team?
The Orlando Thunder mini helmet is currently active and available to order. Note that this is separate from the USFL and XFL mini helmets that are unavailable across the site.
Does Royal Retros make custom Central Florida designs beyond what's shown here?
This collection reflects the current active Orlando, Tampa and St. Petersburg-tagged catalog. Check back — new designs get added over time and older ones occasionally return from draft status.
What's the connection between the Orlando Jackals and Orlando Rollergators?
Same franchise, two names. The team started as the Orlando Rollergators in its 1995 debut season, then rebranded as the Orlando Jackals in March 1996 — the same season it won Roller Hockey International's Murphy Cup under the new name.
