The Brooklyn Dodgers football team played three seasons in the AAFC from 1946 to 1948 at Ebbets Field, sharing the Brooklyn baseball venue with the MLB Dodgers. The football franchise was owned by Dan Topping and was one of the AAFC's weakest, going a combined 8–32–2 across three seasons.

The Dodgers merged with the New York Yankees football club for 1949 and the Brooklyn name was retired. Pro football has not returned to Brooklyn under a major-league banner since — making the AAFC Dodgers the borough's only top-tier pro football franchise in the modern era.
