Florida is one of the deepest alternative-football and minor-league baseball markets in America. Tampa Bay hosted USFL Bandits, AAF Express (Orlando's neighbor), 2020 XFL Vipers, and 2023 XFL/UFL teams. Orlando alone has fielded the WLAF Thunder, AFL Predators, USFL Renegades, AAF Apollos, original XFL Rage, and 2023 XFL Guardians. Miami had ABA Floridians for four seasons.
