The Lubbock Cotton Kings brought professional hockey to West Texas in 1999, joining the Western Professional Hockey League (WPHL). When the WPHL merged with the Central Hockey League (CHL) in 2001, the Cotton Kings continued in the expanded CHL for six more seasons at the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum.

The Cotton Kings built passionate Lubbock crowds across their eight-season run, with the agricultural-themed identity playing perfectly to the West Texas market. Financial pressures forced the franchise to fold after the 2006–07 season, ending Lubbock's longest professional hockey chapter. The Cotton Kings remain one of the most distinctive late-1990s/early-2000s Southwest hockey identities.

How to order

  • Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

Important review carefully before ordering

Once your order is placed:

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Domestic rates

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.

Please review your order carefully before checkout. Changes cannot be made more than 48 hours after purchase. Cancellations made after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit.
  • If a jersey arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll remake it at no charge or issue a full refund. email info@royalretros.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo.
