The Sacramento Surge were the last champions of the World League of American Football (WLAF)'s original run — and one of the league's genuine success stories. Playing at Hughes Stadium, the Surge won World Bowl II in 1992, defeating the Orlando Thunder to close out the league's first two-season chapter. When the WLAF returned in 1995 as a European-only league, Sacramento was left behind along with all the North American franchises. Two seasons, one championship, and a city that proved it could support professional football before the league moved on.

417 Helmets' policy summary:
- 14-day window from date of purchase
- A return authorization is required before shipping anything back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- 20% restocking fee on returns
- Custom orders custom helmets, decals, stripes, and player numbers are final sale
- Exchanges are only between non-custom mini helmets (different team allowed; different style shell or mask is not)
