The New York Raiders were one of the 12 original World Hockey Association (WHA) teams and were hoping to play in the newly built Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. on Long Island. However, the established National Hockey League (NHL) immediately placed an expansion team (the New York Islanders) in the arena to block the Raiders. The Raiders moved to Madison Square Garden and subsequently became tenants of the city's other NHL team, the New York Rangers. An oppressive lease crippled the Raiders. The team averaged 5,600 fans a game, respectable by WHA standards, but untenable for the Raiders given their situation.  The following season, the team was sold and renamed the Golden Blades, but remained in Madison Square Garden. The situation didn't improve and the team was moved midseason and renamed the Jersey Knights taking up residence in Cherry Hill, NJ, just outside of Philadelphia. The arena there, however, proved to be unsuitable as well as dangerous. In 1974, the team moved to California and became the San Diego Mariners.

      Custom measurements are available by request including women's and youth sizes.

      Please review all order details closely. We cannot make any changes to an order 48 hours after purchase.

      Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

      Once the order status has changed to COMPLETED the order cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded.

      Custom jerseys are made when ordered and ship in 4-6 weeks.

      Expedited Shipping will not speed up production time. Please contact us if you need your jersey by a certain date.

      Returns/Exchanges:

      All custom jersey sales are final.

      If a jersey arrives damaged or with errors, we will remake it at no charge or a process a full refund.
