The 1976 Canada Cup was the inaugural edition of the Canada Cup international hockey tournament — the first true best-on-best international hockey event open to professionals from every nation, predating the modern World Cup of Hockey by two decades. Team USA entered the six-nation field alongside Canada, Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union, Sweden, and Finland.

The American squad finished fourth overall — a respectable result given the tournament's depth — and the blue-and-white 1976 USA Canada Cup jersey marked a turning point in American international hockey, four years before the 1980 Miracle on Ice gold medal at Lake Placid.   • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
