The Winnipeg Jets were the most decorated franchise in the seven-year history of the World Hockey Association (WHA), capturing three Avco World Trophies including back-to-back championships in 1977–78 and 1978–79. Founded as part of the WHA's inaugural 1972 class, the Jets immediately reshaped the league when they signed Chicago Black Hawks star Bobby Hull to a record-shattering 10-year, $2.75 million contract — a deal that announced the WHA as a serious major-league alternative.

Hull anchored a roster featuring Swedish stars Anders Hedberg and Ulf Nilsson, who together formed one of the most prolific lines in professional hockey history. Coach Bobby Kromm and general manager Rudy Pilous built one of the deepest rosters in the league across the franchise's seven seasons. When the WHA dissolved in 1979, the Jets were one of four franchises absorbed into the major professional hockey league.

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
