Named for the western wind and a famous train, the Zephyrs were the rebranded Denver Bears from 1984 onward. While in Denver, Joey Meyer hit the longest professional home run ever recorded — officially measured at 582 feet at Mile High Stadium.

When the Colorado Rockies came to town, the Zephyrs moved to New Orleans for the 1993 season and won two more minor leagues championships at the AAA level. Some New Orleans fans found the name odd until reminded that the Zephyr roller coaster at the local Pontchartrain Beach amusement park had been a city institution. The franchise rebranded again as the Baby Cakes in 2017 before relocating to Wichita in 2020.

  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

Once your order is placed:

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Domestic rates

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
