The Sacramento Attack played a single season in the AFL in 1992 at ARCO Arena. The Attack relocated to Miami after the season and rebranded as the Miami Hooters for 1993, then later became the Texas Terror — making the Attack the starting chapter of a multi-city franchise lineage that ran through the mid-1990s.
Sacramento's single AFL season represents one of the league's many early-1990s expansion experiments that gave fans in mid-sized markets a brief taste of arena football before franchises consolidated or relocated.
