The Memphis Southmen are the most celebrated franchise in World Football League (WFL) history — and one that never fully got to play. Originally the Toronto Northmen, the team relocated to Memphis after the Canadian government threatened legislation to block American football leagues from operating in Canada. In Memphis, they pulled off the biggest free-agent signings in football history up to that point: Larry Csonka, Jim Kiick, and Paul Warfield — fresh off back-to-back Super Bowl wins with the Dolphins — all signed to play for Memphis starting in 1975. The team rebranded as the Grizzlies, but the league folded in October 1975 before the season could be completed. The Southmen and Grizzlies remain the great what-if of 1970s professional football.

417 Helmets' policy summary:
- 14-day window from date of purchase
- A return authorization is required before shipping anything back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- 20% restocking fee on returns
- Custom orders custom helmets, decals, stripes, and player numbers are final sale
- Exchanges are only between non-custom mini helmets (different team allowed; different style shell or mask is not)
