The Utah Starzz played six seasons in the WNBA from 1997 to 2002 at the Delta Center as one of the league's eight original 1997 franchises. The Starzz reached the 2002 WNBA Finals (losing to the Los Angeles Sparks) and featured Hall of Famer Margo Dydek (the 7-foot-2 Polish center) plus Natalie Williams.
After 2002, the franchise relocated to San Antonio as the Silver Stars — and later moved on to Las Vegas, where it has continued in the WNBA under that successor identity.
