The San Antonio Texans played a single season in Canada's major professional football league in 1995 at the Alamodome as the relocated continuation of the 1993–94 Sacramento Gold Miners. The Texans gave San Antonio a pro football franchise alongside the city's broader appetite for the sport — a market that has hosted USFL Gunslingers (1984–85), AAF Commanders, XFL Brahmas, and other ventures.
Head coach Kay Stephenson — who had coached the Sacramento Gold Miners and earlier the WLAF Sacramento Surge — led the Texans to an 12–6 record, the best mark of any American-based franchise in Historic Canadian Football history. The Texans reached the southern division championship game before losing to the Baltimore Stallions, who went on to win the 1995 league championship. San Antonio folded along with the rest of the American expansion teams after 1995.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
