The St. Louis Vipers were a charter franchise of Roller Hockey International (RHI) in 1993 and one of the longest-running and most successful franchises in league history. The Vipers captured the 1995 Murphy Cup as RHI champions and played six seasons across the league's full run from 1993 through 1999, making them one of only a handful of franchises to span the entire RHI era.

Playing at St. Louis Arena and later the Kiel Center, the Vipers built one of the strongest gate followings in RHI history. The franchise folded when the RHI ceased operations after the 1999 season, but the Vipers' Murphy Cup banner and full-tenure status make them one of the foundational franchises of professional roller hockey history.
