Years Active: 1995–2004
Home: Murrayfield Stadium — Edinburgh, Scotland · Hampden Park — Glasgow, Scotland
Titles: World Bowl '96 champions

The Claymores played ten seasons in the WLAF/NFL Europe from 1995 to 2004, splitting home games between Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Hampden Park in Glasgow — Scotland's only NFL-affiliated team. One of the founding franchises of the relaunched 1995 league, Scotland won World Bowl '96, beating the Frankfurt Galaxy 32–27, and returned to the title game in 2000, losing 13–10 to the Rhein Fire.

The Claymores were dissolved after the 2004 season as NFL Europe contracted. They remain the only championship franchise based in the British Isles other than the London Monarchs.
