Team: Louisville Icehawks
Years Active: 1990–1994
Home: Broadbent Arena — Louisville, KY

The Louisville Icehawks brought minor league hockey to Kentucky for four seasons, from 1990 to 1994, playing at Broadbent Arena as one of the early Sun Belt expansion franchises that helped grow the sport across the South. The Icehawks made the playoffs in three of their four seasons.

The franchise relocated to Jacksonville for the 1994–95 season. Its distinctive icebird identity and role as Louisville's first professional hockey team have made the jersey one of the more collected pieces of early-1990s Southern hockey apparel.
