The Duluth Eskimos played five seasons in the early NFL — competing as the Duluth Kelleys from 1923 to 1925 and rebranding as the Eskimos for 1926 and 1927. The franchise played at Athletic Park in Duluth, Minnesota.

The 1926 Eskimos became one of the most famous traveling teams in pro football history. After playing the season opener at home, the Eskimos went on a 14-game barnstorming tour, with Hall of Fame fullback Ernie Nevers playing nearly every minute of every game. Nevers was the league's biggest star and the Eskimos' run is remembered as one of the early league's most colorful chapters before the franchise folded after the 1927 season.
