The Miami Seahawks played a single AAFC season in 1946 at the Orange Bowl, the first major-league professional football team based in Florida. The club went 3–11 and folded after one year due to weak attendance and financial losses, relocating and rebranding as the Baltimore Colts for 1947.
Miami would not host pro football again until the AFL Dolphins arrived in 1966.
