The Indianapolis Arrows were a proposed expansion franchise pitched in 1985 as part of a bid to bring major leagues baseball to the new Hoosier Dome. The dome had just opened that year as the home of the Indianapolis Colts (relocated from Baltimore in 1984), and ownership groups explored converting it for baseball use.

The Arrows never made it past concept stage — the dome's geometry and turf were poorly suited for baseball, and the city's population didn't support a viable bid. The proposed franchise remains a what-if footnote in baseball expansion history.
