The Baltimore Clippers were one of the longest-running professional minor-league hockey identities of the 1960s and 1970s, playing at the Baltimore Civic Center across multiple eras of Minor League Hockey. Founded in 1962, the Clippers spent over a decade as one of the East Coast's most stable minor-pro franchises, serving as a development affiliate for various top-tier organizations.

The Clippers' nautical-themed identity — built around their distinctive ship-and-anchor logo — made them one of the era's most visually iconic minor-pro hockey teams. The original franchise folded in 1976, but a successor Clippers operation continued briefly into the early 1980s before professional hockey in Baltimore took a hiatus until the Skipjacks and Bandits eras later in the decade.
