Titles: 1986 Alaska Baseball League champions · 1986 NBC World Series champions

The North Pole Nicks played in the Alaska Baseball League, a wood-bat collegiate summer circuit, from 1980 to 1991. Founded in Fairbanks, the club eventually built its own ballpark in the small town of North Pole, Alaska, making it one of college summer baseball's most remote franchises.

1986 was the signature season: the Nicks won the Alaska Baseball League title, then captured the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas. The franchise dissolved after the 1991 season.
