Team: Buffalo Destroyers
Years Active: 1999–2003
Home: HSBC Arena — Buffalo, NY
The Destroyers played five AFL seasons from 1999 to 2003 at HSBC Arena, giving Western New York its only arena football franchise and building a strong regional following in the league's later years.
After the 2003 season the franchise relocated to Ohio and rebranded as the Columbus Destroyers, continuing through 2008. The Buffalo Destroyers were the original chapter of that multi-city franchise.
