The Ohio Glory were a professional American football team based in Columbus, Ohio, that played a single season in the World League of American Football, in 1992. The Glory were brought in to replace the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks for the league's second campaign and played their lone season at Ohio Stadium, finishing 1–9 before the WLAF's North American operations shut down.

The Ohio Glory Era-by-Era History

1992 — The Only Season. The Glory joined the World League for its second season, replacing the one-and-done Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks. Playing in the cavernous Ohio Stadium — "the Horseshoe" — Columbus struggled to a 1–9 record in a tough year for the league's American franchises.

The End of the Original WLAF. The NFL suspended the World League after 1992, and the Glory folded with the rest of the North American clubs after just one season — making their gear one of the rarest in all of World League history.

The Venue — Ohio Stadium

The Glory played at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, one of the most famous venues in American football. Sharing the Horseshoe gave the short-lived franchise an outsized stage for its single season.
