Team Info
The Southern California Sun played two seasons in the World Football League from 1974-75. The team was well known for their magenta and orange uniforms. Former Rams Hall of Fame WR Tom Fears coached the team to winning records in both seasons. Although they were one of the top teams in the league, the Sun lost their only playoff game when 3 of their best players refused to play because they had not been paid. In 1975, the Sun had the best record when the league folded in the middle of the season.
