The Southern California Sun played two full seasons in the World Football League (WFL), giving Los Angeles-area football fans an alternative to the NFL's Rams and Chargers at Anaheim Stadium. The Sun were one of the few franchises to survive the WFL's entire run — from its 1974 launch through the collapse in October 1975 — and one of the largest-market teams the league ever hosted.

417 Helmets' policy summary:
- 14-day window from date of purchase
- A return authorization is required before shipping anything back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- 20% restocking fee on returns
- Custom orders custom helmets, decals, stripes, and player numbers are final sale
- Exchanges are only between non-custom mini helmets (different team allowed; different style shell or mask is not)
