This page features the Beavers' 1968 home cream and road gray jerseys. The original Portland Beavers began play in 1901, taking the Beavers name in 1903. The team was extremely successful — winning six PCL titles before withdrawing from the league in 1917 due to World War I. Over the next century, professional baseball in Portland came and went, but the Beavers name remained a tradition in the minor leagues.

In total, four separate organizations used the Portland Beavers name and collectively won nine championships. The final Beavers club played their last season in 2010, when PGE Park was remodeled for soccer and the team was left without a home. Hall of Fame alumni included Satchel Paige and Mickey Cochrane, plus stars Ray Fosse, Lou Piniella, Eddie Basinski, Luis Tiant, and Shawn Estes.
