The Walla Walla Padres were a short-season Class A affiliate in the Northwest League, serving as the San Diego Padres' lowest farm club starting in 1973. The team won two Northwest League titles before folding after the 1982 season.
Despite its small-market size, Walla Walla developed an outsized share of future major leaguers, including Hall of Famers Tony Gwynn and Ozzie Smith, along with John Kruk and Mitch Williams.
