The Cincinnati Kids were one of six original Major Indoor Soccer League franchises, taking the floor at Riverfront Coliseum for the league's inaugural 1978–79 campaign. The club was partly owned by Cincinnati baseball legend Pete Rose, who lent his name and star power to the venture.
The Kids finished third in the league at 16–8, with a strong home mark at the Coliseum, before disbanding after that single season — a true one-and-done relic of indoor soccer's earliest days.
