The Scottish Claymores were one of the most beloved franchises in World League of American Football (WLAF) history — a team that found a genuine home in a country where American football had no right to take root. One of the original franchises in the league's 1995 restart, the Claymores won the World Bowl in 1996 and reached the championship again in 2000. Playing primarily at Murrayfield in Edinburgh — Scotland's national rugby ground — they built a real community around the sport. The franchise was retired after 2004 when the league contracted, leaving Scotland without a professional American football team and a fan base with nowhere to put its loyalty.

417 Helmets' policy summary:
- 14-day window from date of purchase
- A return authorization is required before shipping anything back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- 20% restocking fee on returns
- Custom orders custom helmets, decals, stripes, and player numbers are final sale
- Exchanges are only between non-custom mini helmets (different team allowed; different style shell or mask is not)
