Event: XFL Million Dollar Game
Years Active: One game — April 21, 2001
Champions: Los Angeles Xtreme
The Million Dollar Game was the championship of the original 2001 XFL — the only title game the league's inaugural, WWF-and-NBC-backed season ever played. Held April 21, 2001 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Los Angeles Xtreme defeated the San Francisco Demons 38–6 behind league MVP Tommy Maddox.
The game's name referred to the $1 million winner's purse split among the Xtreme roster, a signature promotional touch of the league's short-lived first season. It remains the only championship the original XFL ever crowned, before the concept was revived in 2020 and again in 2023.
