Before Vancouver became a major-league hockey market in 1970, the Vancouver Canucks were one of the most successful franchises in the minor-pro Pacific Coast Hockey League and the Western Hockey League (WHL). Across 25 seasons of minor-pro play, the Canucks captured six league championships — two PCHL titles in the late 1940s and four WHL titles, including back-to-back crowns in 1969 and 1970 just before the franchise transitioned to the major-league level.
The Canucks played most of their minor-pro years at the PNE Forum at the Pacific National Exhibition grounds in east Vancouver, moving into the new Pacific Coliseum for their final two seasons in 1968–70. New ownership headed by Tom Scallen acquired the WHL franchise in 1970 for a $6 million expansion fee, bringing major-league hockey to Vancouver beginning with the 1970–71 season. The minor-pro Canucks' two-decade run made them one of the cornerstones of West Coast professional hockey before the city's elevation to the top tier.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.

- If a jersey arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll remake it at no charge or issue a full refund. email info@royalretros.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo.
