Team: Toronto Falcons
Years Active: 1967–1968
Home: Varsity Stadium — Toronto, ON

Descended from the Toronto Italia-Falcons of the old Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League, the Falcons were promoted into the ambitious National Professional Soccer League for its 1967 debut season under owner Joe Peters, playing out of Varsity Stadium and posting a 10-5-17 record while averaging just under 3,800 fans a game. The club carried over into the newly merged North American Soccer League in 1968, hiring the celebrated Hungarian tactician László Kubala as head coach.

Toronto responded with a respectable 13-6-13 mark, but the Falcons were among a dozen clubs that folded amid the league's financial shakeout following that season. Toronto would not see top-flight outdoor soccer again until the Metros arrived in 1971.
