The Hawaiians were one of the most distinctive franchises in the World Football League (WFL), bringing professional football to Honolulu for the first time. Playing at Honolulu Stadium in 1974 and the newly opened Aloha Stadium in 1975, the Hawaiians drew passionate crowds in a market that had never had a pro football team. Their colorful uniforms and island setting made them one of the league's most memorable franchises — and the farthest-flung outpost in WFL history. The league folded in October 1975, and Hawaii has never had a professional football team since.

417 Helmets' policy summary:
- 14-day window from date of purchase
- A return authorization is required before shipping anything back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- 20% restocking fee on returns
- Custom orders custom helmets, decals, stripes, and player numbers are final sale
- Exchanges are only between non-custom mini helmets (different team allowed; different style shell or mask is not)
