The Port Huron Flags were a fixture of the International Hockey League (IHL) from 1962 to 1981, representing the Michigan border city across the St. Clair River from Sarnia, Ontario. The crossed flags on the crest — a nod to both sides of the border — became one of the most recognizable logos in the league. Skating out of McMorran Place, the Flags were perennial contenders, reaching the Turner Cup Finals seven times and lifting the trophy three times: in 1966, 1971, and 1972.
For three seasons in the early 1970s the club operated as the Port Huron Wings while serving as a development affiliate, before reverting to the Flags name for its final run. The franchise folded after the 1980–81 season, but its red-and-white sweater and crossed-flags crest remain a beloved piece of small-market hockey history.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
