Team: Port Huron Beacons
Years Active: 2002–2005 (UHL)
Home: McMorran Arena — Port Huron, MI

The Port Huron Beacons joined the United Hockey League as an expansion club in 2002, taking over McMorran Arena after the Port Huron Border Cats ceased operations and keeping pro hockey in the Michigan border city across the St. Clair River from Sarnia, Ontario.

Former pro defenseman Brad Jones coached the first season before Bruce Ramsey took over, and the Beacons reached the playoffs in each of their first two years, winning a round in 2003–04. After missing the postseason in 2004–05, the franchise left Port Huron and became the Roanoke Valley Vipers.
