The Philadelphia Quakers played a single season in the major professional hockey league — and it was one of the most disastrous campaigns in Legacy Hockey history. The franchise was the relocated Pittsburgh Pirates, moved to Philadelphia after Depression-era debt overwhelmed Pittsburgh ownership. The team was renamed the Quakers in homage to Pennsylvania's founding tradition.
The 1930–31 Quakers posted a 4–36–4 record — 12 points across the 44-game season — tying the 1919–20 Quebec Bulldogs for the fewest wins by any team in a full major-league season. They had the worst offense in the league (76 goals for) and the worst defense (184 goals against), and ownership lost another $100,000 over the season's books. The Quakers were never able to overcome the disastrous combination of an underfunded roster, an emerging Great Depression, and the franchise's previous Pittsburgh debts. They folded after the 1930–31 season — leaving Philadelphia without a major-league hockey franchise until the Philadelphia Flyers arrived 36 years later in 1967.

How to order
- Type the number and/or name you'd like on the jersey in the customization fields. You can leave the name field blank if you only want a number.
- To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.
Important review carefully before ordering
Once your order is placed:
- Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
- Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Construction options
Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.
Custom measurements
We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.
Blank-jersey exchanges
Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe
Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.
Expedited shipping
Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
