Team: Ottawa Nationals
Years Active: 1972-1973
Homes: Ottawa Civic Centre (Ottawa, ON)

The Nationals originally planned to play in Toronto, but eventually decided on Ottawa due to what was thought to be a more favorable stadium lease. Coached by former Maple Leaf Billy Harris, the Nationals played well enough to qualify for the playoffs but drew very poor attendance. Late in the season, stadium management demanded a down payment for the following year. Instead, the team moved to Toronto for the playoffs and remained there permanently when they became the Toros the following season.
