Team: Nova Scotia Voyageurs
Years Active: 1971–1984
Home: Halifax Forum & Halifax Metro Centre — Halifax, NS
Titles: 3× league champions (1972, 1976, 1977)

The Nova Scotia Voyageurs became the first team in Atlantic Canada to play in one of professional hockey's top developmental leagues, relocating to Halifax in 1971 after two seasons as the Montreal Voyageurs. They were also the first Canadian club to win the league title.

For over a decade the Voyageurs were the class of the league, posting a losing record in only two seasons and never once missing the playoffs across thirteen years in Halifax. The club won three championships — 1971–72, 1975–76 and 1976–77 — and added regular-season titles in both 1975–76 and 1976–77.

After thirteen seasons of sustained success, the franchise relocated to Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1984.
