The New York Arrows were charter members of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) when it launched in 1978 — and immediately built a dynasty. The Arrows captured the league's first four championships from 1978–79 through 1981–82, the only such four-peat in MISL history.
Two years after their fourth title the franchise folded, leaving behind one of the most dominant short runs in American indoor-soccer history.
