                  The Montreal Machine were one of the original teams in WLAF and were the first American football team in Canada since the 1960's. With the Alouttes folding a few years earlier, the Machine had great fan support in Montreal. The team finished 3rd in its division in both seasons and the league shut down after the 1992 season to restructure. When WLAF returned in 1995, it was based exclusively in Europe and the Machine did not return.
