Home: Wembley Stadium — London, England
Titles: World Bowl I champions (1991)
The London Monarchs were one of ten original World League of American Football franchises in 1991 and won the league's first-ever title that season, beating the Barcelona Dragons 21–0 at Wembley Stadium in front of more than 60,000 fans — the first American football championship won by a European city. The Monarchs played out of Wembley through the league's 1992 season and its 1995–1997 revival.
The franchise rebranded as the England Monarchs for a final 1998 season, touring home games to Bristol, Birmingham, and other English cities before folding as the league consolidated onto mainland Europe.
This is a historical representation of a defunct team, not affiliated with or endorsed by any active team, league, or organization.
