                  The Las Vegas Posse played one season in the Canadian league and were coached by Ron Meyer. Their practice facility was called the Field of ImPOSSEable Dreams, and was simply a patch of artificial turf in a parking lot behind the The Riviera Casino. With poor attendance in Las Vegas, singer Jimmy Buffet attempted to buy the team and move it to Jackson, MS. The deal fell through as did another deal move them to Milwaukee, and yet another to turn the team into the proposed Miami Manatees and the Canadian league experiment in the US came to an end.
