Team: Jersey Jolters

The Jersey Jolters were a premiere team of the National Roller Derby League when the league debuted its distinctive team names in 1950.  At that time, the team colors were orange and white and the team was coached by Carl Payne and his wife, Monta Jean Payne. The team was disbanded in the mid-Fifties only to be re-organized for three months in 1958.  During the 1971 season in the Bay Area, the Central Jolters returned under the leadership of Bob Woodberry and Lydia Clay wearing their distinctive red and baby blue uniforms.  There was also another jersey style with the colors reversed.  When the Jolters debuted in their home area in the Midwest (except Illinois and Indiana) they wore the same style jerseys in baby blue with a black panel on the front and back, along with a second jersey in blue with black collar and trim.  The team was coached by Cliff Butler and captained by Ann Calvello.  They were officially named the Midwest Jolters but after their initial season as a home team, they became a “road” team identified as the Ohio Jolters.  They remained in the league until the Derby ceased operations in late 1973.  They returned to action in 1979 in the I.R.S.L. as the Southern Jolters.

Check the LEAVE BLANK box and jersey will not have any name or number. This still requires production time we as do not keep blank jerseys in stock.

Add-Ons :

Some jerseys have options for add-ons including patches or options for sleeve length. To purchase these, make sure you check the box next to the item and that the item they appears in your cart before proceeding to checkout.

Further Customization :

Custom measurements are available by request including women's and youth sizes.

We can also make other changes to the jerseys shown on the website. For additional customization requests, email us at custom@royalretros.com

Changes/ Cancellations

Changes and Cancellations:

Please review all order details closely. We cannot make any changes to an order 48 hours after purchase.

Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Once the order status has changed to COMPLETED the order cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded.

Custom jerseys are made when ordered and ship in 4-6 weeks.

Expedited Shipping will not speed up production time. Please contact us if you need your jersey by a certain date.

Returns/Exchanges:

All custom jersey sales are final.

If a jersey arrives damaged or with errors, we will remake it at no charge or a process a full refund.
