The Centurions were one of the final teams to join the league in 2004, replacing the longtime Barcelona Dragons. They were given an immediate boost with the hiring of two time World Bowl champion head coach Peter Vaas. Unfortunately, the league lasted only a few more seasons and the Centurions ended up being the only NFL Europe team to not win a championship.
