The Chicago Shamrocks were a Depression-era professional hockey franchise that played two seasons in the American Hockey Association (AHA) at the Chicago Coliseum. The Shamrocks competed against fellow AHA teams in the early-1930s minor-pro hockey landscape, building a brief but memorable Irish-themed identity in a Chicago hockey market that already housed the city's established top-tier franchise.

The Shamrocks folded after the 1931–32 season as Depression-era financial pressures decimated the AHA. The franchise's two-year run remains a fascinating pre-WWII chapter of Chicago professional hockey history, with the green-and-white shamrock identity making the jersey a particularly distinctive piece of obscure 1930s minor-pro apparel.
