Home: Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys / Mini Estadi — Barcelona, Spain
Titles: World Bowl '97 champions
The Barcelona Dragons were one of the most enduring franchises of the WLAF / NFL Europe era, playing across both the original 1991–92 World League and the NFL Europe years through 2003. Home games were staged at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Montjuïc, the main venue of the 1992 Summer Olympics, and later at the Mini Estadi near Camp Nou.
The Dragons won World Bowl '97, beating the Rhein Fire 38–24 in Frankfurt, and reached additional finals through the NFL Europe years while consistently drawing some of the league's largest crowds. The franchise folded when NFL Europe cut from six teams to five after the 2003 season.
This is a historical representation of a defunct team, not affiliated with or endorsed by any active team, league, or organization.
