The Utah Stars were the relocated continuation of the Anaheim Amigos / Los Angeles Stars franchise in the ABA. A record crowd of over 13,000 fans was on hand when the Stars defeated the Kentucky Colonels to win the 1971 ABA Championship. The Stars were the first professional basketball club to incorporate a pre-game shootaround.

Coached by Hall of Famer Bill Sharman in the title season, the Stars featured Zelmo Beaty (Hall of Fame), Moses Malone (Hall of Fame), Roger Brown (Hall of Fame), Mack Calvin, and Willie Wise. The franchise folded mid-season in 1975 due to financial collapse — owners stopped paying players in November 1975 and the team disbanded after just 16 games.

  • To order a fully blank jersey, check the "Leave blank" box. Blank jerseys still require full production time — we don't keep them in stock.

Once your order is placed:

  • Changes can only be made within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, the order has entered production and we can't modify it.
  • Cancellations after 48 hours are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Construction options

Many jerseys offer choices like application method (replica/printed vs sewn tackle twill), sleeve length, or add-on patches. The available options appear on the customization screen as you go through it.

Custom measurements

We can produce jerseys in custom measurements including women's and youth sizes. We can also modify other details on the jerseys shown on the site. For these requests, email custom@royalretros.com before ordering.

Blank-jersey exchanges

Custom jerseys ordered blank (no name or number) can be exchanged for another size or for store credit. Custom jerseys with a name or number printed/sewn are final sale.

Production timeframe

Custom jerseys are made-to-order and ship in 3-7 weeks depending on construction style. The exact lead time for the style you choose is shown on the Decoration Type screen during customization.

Expedited shipping

Choosing an expedited shipping method does not speed up production, it only affects how we ship the order once it's been made. If you need your jersey by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Standard shipping starts at $5.99. Free Economy shipping on US orders $125+. International shipping available to most countries.
