About the San Antonio Brahmas

The San Antonio Brahmas are a charter franchise of the relaunched XFL, born when the league returned for its 2023 season under new ownership and brought spring pro football back to the Alamodome. With a Texas-state-flag-inspired color scheme, a bold bull-horn logo and a fan base that filled out a 64,000-seat venue with crowds of 25,000-plus on game day, the Brahmas immediately became one of the most popular franchises in modern spring football.

San Antonio has long been one of the great underserved football markets in America, hosting USFL and NFL Europe teams and even briefly an NFL team (the Saints during Hurricane Katrina relocation). The Brahmas tapped into all of that pent-up demand, drawing some of the strongest crowds in XFL history during the 2023 season and setting up a smooth transition into the United Football League — the merged 2024 spring league created when the XFL and USFL combined.

Today the Brahmas continue to compete in the UFL with the Alamodome as their home, the bull horns as their identity and a passionate, growing fan base.
