Team: Las Vegas Locomotives
Years Active: 2009–2012 (UFL)
Home: Sam Boyd Stadium — Las Vegas, NV
Titles: 2× UFL champions (2009, 2010)

The Las Vegas Locomotives — known to fans as the Locos — played all four seasons of the UFL, from 2009 to 2012, at Sam Boyd Stadium and were the league's dominant franchise. Coached by Jim Fassel, the former NFL Giants coach who led New York to Super Bowl XXXV, Las Vegas won back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010 and reached a third straight championship game in 2011 before falling to the Virginia Destroyers.

The Locomotives were one of just four franchises still operating when the UFL suspended play midway through the 2012 season, never crowning a champion; ownership had weighed a move to Salt Lake City that year before folding in Las Vegas instead.
